Our Bistro menu offers you a range of Grills, Burgers, Sizzling Fajitas and Breakfast (served until 12 noon) including our Hoggies Belly Buster Breakfast! for those who want the whole Hog!
Our grills are all matured for 28 days and are sourced from our local Cotswold butchers, and if you are feeling hungry? try our Hoggies Monster Burger with its 8oz steak burger and whole chicken breast topped with bacon, cheese, barbeque sauce and onion rings, truly TBO!
Our menu is varied with dishes such as sharing platters, salads, nachos etc and Hoggies favourites such as slow roasted belly pork or a rack of babyback ribs! I’m sure you will find something to make your mouth water!
Hoggies boasts a large, safe enclosed garden set to the back of the pub which leads directly to a very large children’s play area at the far end. There are tables opposite the area so you can keep an eye on the little ones whilst still enjoying yourselves and company. Equally if you want a quieter garden experience it is large enough to allow ample space, there is also a front garden area which is baved in sunshine during the summer months! There is ample parking at Hoggies and being off the beaten track in it’s quiet rural location it’s great for large parties especially in the summer.
Nestled on the edge of the Cotswold hills The Pepper Pot Caravan Park offers an ideal location for exploring all the area’s renowned natural beauty. We offer large pitches including hard standing and grass pitches. All of our pitches are set around a large grass area ideal for children to play in a totally safe and secure environment.
Our static caravans are a new addition to our popular touring park and campsite offering top quality, comfortable accommodation for holiday makers looking for a home from home self-catering option for both couples and families. The caravans are equipped with everything you need to prepare and eat home cooked meals or make a picnic for the next day. After dinner you will be able to relax on comfortable sofas after a busy day exploring the Cotswolds. Each caravan has its own shower room and separate toilet. Bed linen can be provided at small extra cost.
Excellent facilities located in a purposed built toilet/shower block, offering Individual showers and a family/disabled room. From the North
If you approach from the north on the A38 you will pass the roundabout on the A419 that leads to junction 13 of the M5, continue south for approximately 9 miles, you will come to a left turn signposted, Hogdown, Lower Wick, Upper Wick and a Brown Camping sign, turn left and continue for 1.4 miles. You will come to a bridge where you pass under the M5 motorway, Hoggies Pub will be directly in front of you on the left.
From the South
If you approach from the south on the A38 you will pass through Whitfield and Falfield just south of junction 14 of the M5. Continue north through Stone coming to Newport, as you drive through Newport you will see a signpost right to Hogdown, Lower Wick, Upper Wick and a Brown Camping sign, turn right and continue for 1.4 miles. You will come to a bridge where you pass under the M5 motorway, Hoggies Pub will be directly in front of you on the left. If you are travelling up by motorway exit at J14, turn right onto hte B4509, continue up the hill until you come to a crossroads, turn left signoposted Damery and Wick. Continue on this lane, Tortworth Road for 2.2 miles until you arrive at the Pub on your right.
